The maximum power allowed for use on roads and pathways is 250 watts. This is quite sufficient for the bikes to reach the legal limit of 25kph before the motor must cut out.  If the bike is fitted with a throttle that will be restricted to 6kph.

The range of a standard 36 volt 12.5 amp hour battery will vary according to conditions such as wind, hills, speed, power level, weight of rider etc.  Most people report a range of 55-60 kilometres or more using the maximum assistance level available.

We recommend you invest in a car bike rack which is rated for carrying electric bikes.  These racks are well designed and some can even be tilted with the bikes on them to enable access to the rear of a car hatchback or doors.  Some of these can also be locked on to the tow ball to reduce theft.

We offer very secure locks which are highly resistant to cutting, drilling or breaking.  Additionally, we can supply alarms which are movement sensors and are activated by any movement of the bike.  They are very loud.
