Battery
Lithium battery 48 volt 12.5 amp hour LG cells and 3 year warranty. Large Capacity Battery
The large battery gives you a long range of up to 70km. You have the option of pedalling with 5 levels of assistance. The battery positioning allows for easy access and a balanced ride.

Motor
XOFO Brushless rear hub motor. 48 volt 250 watt (500W in NSW). Brushless motors are more efficient than their brushed counterparts because they eliminate the friction caused by brushes. This efficiency translates to more power and longer run times from the same battery pack, making them ideal for high-demand tasks.
Efficient Power Transfer: With a reduction ratio of 1:5, the motor optimizes power transfer for efficient e-bike performance.
Durable Brushless Gear Design: Equipped with a brushless gear hub motor, this e-bike motor ensures longevity and smooth operation.
Disc Brake Integration: Designed to work seamlessly with disc brakes, this motor enhances safety and control in various riding conditions.
High Torque Output: Boasting a robust 56 N.M torque, this motor delivers powerful acceleration for our trikes.

Tyre
20 inch wheels with 4 inch diameter tyres. Tyre pressures can be run 15-30 PSI for comfort or speed.
Kenda’s first line of defense – since 1995. A layer of light, flexible rubber containing aramid and ceramic particles inside the tire under the tread area only. Designed to prevent punctures and increase tire life. The Kenda Krusade tire features a reflective sidewall stripe and Kenda’s K-Shield puncture-resistant tire liner.

Compound Structure
Kenda tires roll on three different compound constructions: Dual Layer Compound, Dual Tread Compound and Single Tread Compound. During development, every new tire is tested with different compounds to find the one best suited for the tire’s intended use.

Kenda’s single tread compound construction uses the same compound over the whole tread of the tire. This construction is found in many road, gravel, commuting and some mountain bike tires. The characteristics of the compound itself vary between each category – a commuter tire’s compound will be more durable than a mountain bike compound – or even within the category as Kenda adapts the compound to each tire. A mountain bike tire that is intended to perform well in wet conditions will have a different compound than a tire that is meant to excel in dry conditions. That way you can also be sure to get a tire with a compound that was fine-tuned for that particular tire.

Dual tread compounds use two different compounds. The center of the tread uses a firmer compound to improve rolling resistance and create stronger breaking edges, while the transition area and shoulder of the tire uses a softer compound for increased cornering control and grip. Kenda uses a dual tread compound mostly in mountain bike and gravel tires, but even some road tires benefit from the dual tread construction.

Kenda’s dual layer tread compound uses a stiff compound as the base with a soft compound laid over the whole tread. The firm bottom layer serves as the foundation for the softer layer to push against, keeping the knobs stable through breaking and cornering while providing plenty of grip. The result is a compound that provides better control and lasts longer than previous versions. The Dual Layer compound is used exclusively in tires with AGC and AEC casing.

Suspension
Hydraulic Suspension matched with the fat tyres makes every ride smooth and like a cruise.

Frame
Built tough! All alloy and joined in the middle by 4 bolts for easy shipping. Alloys can be thirty times stronger than pure aluminum, and regularly exceed steel in strength-to-weight ratios. Frame is guaranteed for 10 years, such is the quality of Ryder frames.
The 6061 aluminum alloy is a advantageous because it can resist corrosion, which is its most notable attribute. Aluminum as a whole is not extremely strong. However, this particular one is more resistant to corrosion and places less stress on parts.

Lights
Be seen! Front and rear LED lights offer the latest in lighting technology. A well-lit bike is equipped withfront and rear lightingto ensure your visibility to motorists and pedestrians. For commuting or riding after dark—especially on trail rides that are far from ambient light sources—your front light needs to be a high-output lighting system so you see well ahead of you.

Gears
SHIMANO Tourney 7 speed derailleur gears. Shimano Index System: The system constituents such as the index mechanism built into the shifting lever, the frictionless SIS rear index shifting cable and the smooth action rear derailleur realise the Shimano Index System (SIS).
Double Servo: Shimano’s double servo-panta mechanism enables the rear derailleur to move in an optimum path.

The guide pulley tracks the cogs closely while moving front to back, optimising each shift. Perfect tracking contributes to the most accurate SIS shifting. Keeps rear derailleur guide pulley an optimum distance from each sprocket.

Range
From 55 to 75 kilometres on PAS.
By definition, pedal assist system (PAS) is the system used by electric bikes to provide additional power to the rider when pedaling. This is the opposite of a throttle-based system which you will find on electric scooters and some e-bikes.

  • 3 Year Warranty

Australia’s BEST Warranty! Shop worry-free with a 3-Year Warranty on your motor, frame and battery*. Ryder Bikes have been continuously improving the product and focusing on reliability for 17 years with a dedicated research and development team working tirelessly to make sure they offer the ultimate in reliability and best value in Australia.

*Please note that this warranty does not cover wear and tear, nor bikes that lack regular servicing. Be aware that battery capacity can decrease with each charge and use. Warranty claims for the battery need to be submitted in writing to john@ebikers.com.au. Typically, a battery will perform at 60% capacity after 3 years of use or 500 charge cycles, whichever comes first.
